@Michael : RIPE community is well served by existing servers, AND the beauty of federation is that adding one more server, run by the "secretariat" of the RIPE community.

strong agree with the sentiments here, and as a WG co-chair: I've occasionally been bad at monitoring meetecho while in the room, and I've also been skipped as a remote chair

I have never kicked anyone out of a physical mic queue for not signing in online. But I do remind them it's easier for the chairs & note-takers to manage a single queue.
