It came to our attention that at least one person attending onsite tested positive for COVID. If you experience any COVID symptoms, we would like to remind you that we have lateral flow self-testing kits available at the registration desk. If you don’t feel well, please take necessary precautionary measures. It is advised to stay in the room or wear a mask.
What to do if you test positive for COVID-19 during the event
Although COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, we would like to help limit the spread of respiratory viruses. In the unfortunate case that you test positive for COVID-19 during RIPE 87:
- Please do not enter the event area.
- Please inform your hotel.
- Please inform the event organisation team. We will keep your information confidential and only use it to inform other onsite attendees without revealing your identity. Revealing this information is not obligatory but will help minimise the spread of the virus and help us have a safe meeting. We will only keep your personal data for one week after receiving the report.
