Arturo Filastò founded the Open Observatory of Network Interference (OONI) in 2011. He previously worked for the Tor Project and created several free software projects that promote human rights, such as the whistleblowing platform GlobaLeaks. He co-founded and serves as the Vice-President of the Hermes Center for Digital Human Rights. Arturo studied Mathematics and Computer Science at Università di Roma “La Sapienza”.
