Christer Weinigel works for Netnod in Sweden, mostly on time distribution. He has a background in Linux, embedded software and programming close to the hardware.Most of Christer's work has been close to the hardware: on the Linux system for the Ericsson eBox, on GNSS receivers at Nordnav and Cambridge Silicon Radio, with Digital Predistorsion for power amplifiers at ETA Wireless and Nokia. At Netnod he has been working on time distribution, both on designing the NTS protocol (RFC 8915) and on writing both software and FPGA implementations of NTS.
